Bush undermined in Iraq?

OK, today's Hannity statement that drove me nuts is his claim that Bush has been completely undermined in his efforts to win the war in Iraq.

WTF? I mean, what has he not been able to do??? He has pretty much been given everything he's asked for to fight this war. If he hasn't, then it is the Republicans to blame, because they're in charge of both the House and Senate.

More Hannity crap

OK, this week - the Mark Foley Page scandal week - Hannity has really been railing on the dems for what he calls 'selective moral outrage'. The argument being a comparison of democratic reaction to Gerry Studds' page scandal (only a censure) versus their reaction to Mark Foley's page scandal (run him out of town, and Hastert to resign).

Well, I have my own example of selective moral judgement on the part of conservatives: at the same time Studds was censured, republican Dan Crane was also censured for sex w/ an underage page. Where was the Republican moral outrage at that time??? Compare this to the almost fanatical moral outrage the Republicans directed toward Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal.

Hannity, Clinton, Mel Reynolds

Hannity just said Clinton commuted Mel Reynolds sentence, who was in jail for statutory rape of a 16 yo girl.

What he neglected to say was that Clinton commuted Reynold's sentence for other charges, not for the sex charges for which he had already done his entire sentence in jail.
